Standard Cancellation and Refund Timetable
More than 72 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Entire refund minus transaction fees
Refund Period: Within 5-7 business days
Transaction Charge: €50 for credit card payments
Requirements: Formal request via electronic mail or telephone is mandatory
24-72 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Half of the overall charter fee
Refund Period: within 7-10 business days
Transaction Charge: €25 reduced from the refund amount
Requirements: A valid justification is necessary; administrative expenses are applicable
Less than 24 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: There's no refund option
Exception: Cases of emergency might be taken into consideration
Alternative: Credit for charter could be proposed at the discretion of SharedOasisCenter's management
Requirements: Emergency appeals must be substantiated with proper documentation
Cancellations Due to Weather Conditions
Our Pledge Regarding Weather
Our main priority is your safety. If navigation conditions are considered as hazardous by our certified captain, we provide adaptable choices:
- Complete Refund: If rescheduling isn't possible, a full reimbursement is offered
- Reschedule: Set up the charter for a different day with no extra cost
- Charter Credit: Receive a voucher valid for one year from the first charter date
Process for Assessing Weather Conditions
We take several factors into account when evaluating the weather:
- Evaluation of wind speed and trajectory
- Sea conditions and wave height
- Visibility and prediction of rainfall
- Advisories and signals from the Coast Guard
- Professional judgement of the captain's on safety
Decision Making: Calls on weather-related cancellations are finalized at a minimum of 4 hours before departure time.
Medical Emergency Reimbursements
Cases of Urgency
We are aware that health emergencies are unforeseen. The next examples may be eligible for extraordinary consideration:
- Abrupt illness or harm needing hospital admittance
- Demise in the near family
- Immediate military duties or recall
- Serving on a jury or court summons
- Natural calamities obstructing travel plans
Requirement for Documentation
To proceed with requests for emergency reimbursements, we ask for:
- Health certificate or hospital records
- Document in case of death (when relevant)
- Official orders from the military
- Court notice or proof of jury service
- Notice on travel prohibitions or state of emergency declarations
Procedure: We process emergency reimbursements within 3-5 business days after the correct paperwork has been presented.
Cancellations Due to Operational Issues
Technical Failures
In a situation where your allocated boat has mechanical breakdowns that are irremediable:
- Substitute Vessel: We'll try to offer a similar option
- Complete Refund: If a suitable substitute can't be found
- Partial Refund: If the alternate boat varies in cost
- Compensation: We may extend added compensation for any inconvenience
Unavailability of Crew
In the unusual case that qualified crew is not obtainable:
- Replacement staff will be sought where feasible
- Complete reimbursement if the charter can't go ahead
- Rescheduling without additional charge
Methodology for Processing Refunds
Mode of Refund
Reimbursements are usually issued to the same method utilized to make the booking:
- Credit Cards: Refunds to be completed within 5-7 business days
- Bank Transfers: Processed in 7-10 business days
- Cash/Cheque: Sorted within 3-5 business days

€50 cost for cancellations beyond 72 hours before
Processing Bank Transfers
€25 charge for all bank transfer reimbursement
Processing for International Transactions
Added fees may be relevant for international dealings
Policy on Charter Credit
Circumstances of Credit Issuance
Credits for chartering may be presented as an alternate to refunds under the following situations:
- Last-minute cancellations (under 24 hours prior)
- Cancellations linked to weather issues
- Requests to willingly reschedule
- Delays due to operational measures
Terms for Credit
- Validity: Active for 12 months following issuance
- Non-transferable: Can't be passed on to other persons
- Worth: For the total amount of the charter (free from processing costs)
- Application: Usable for any available yachting service
- Expiry: Extension past the 12-month period is not available
Refunds for Partial Services
Interruptions in Service
If your cruise is disrupted or cut short due to factors we control:
- Refund proportionate to the unutilized period
- Credit for an upcoming cruise of matching value
- Complimentary amenities or improvements may be provided
Disruptions Related to Guests
If a cruise is ended prematurely due to guest actions or breaches of safety:
- No repayment for the duration not enjoyed
- Total payment is still expected
- Additional fees could be imposed
Settling Disputes
In case of disagreement with a refund determination, you have the option to:
- Seek a reassessment by our executive team
- Present further documentation or proof
- Request intervention through consumer advocacy groups
- Explore legal options as authorized by relevant law

Our staff will acknowledge your request in a day's time, assess it against our policy, resolve within 48 hours, and handle sanctioned refunds in the timeframes stated.

- Refunds are conducted in €, irrespective of the original currency used
- We highly advocate for obtaining travel insurance
